Trained volunteers who help assist in our Life Skills classes. They have a heart for those hurting and are willing to walk alongside participants. They offer a listening ear, provide accountability, encourage them in achieving goals and pray with them.

Local businesses and organizations who desire to build our community and help those in need by providing their unique services and financial support as a resource for those in need. 

Trained volunteers conduct intakes, listening and responding with wisdom and discernment and offering to pray with clients. They assess requests and provide resources to help meet their needs. Volunteers then follow up with clients to see how they are and if their needs were met.

Volunteers who are passionate about our mission and desire to get more involved at the leadership level.The board helps with various events throughout the year and works together to seek opportunities and build relationships throughout the county.

 Volunteers keep the office running smoothly and often bring a smile to a clients face with their caring spirit. They assist in a variety of tasks including answering phones, imputing data, compiling reports, updating files, thanking donors, sending postcards to clients or helping out with whatever projects we are working on at the moment. 

Volunteers prayerfully put together care packages of clothing & toiletries that are tailored specifically to each individual’s need. They also sort incoming donations helping to keep our donation room neat and organized. 

Volunteers work with our fundraising team to help with developing and organizing our fundraising events. Some of these jobs would include recruiting potential sponsors, brainstorming marketing and promotional strategies and building relationships with donors all to help tell our story. The team will also be training other volunteers helping at the event along with serving during the event. This is a seasonal opportunity.

Trained volunteers aim to encourage willing participants to make sound Biblical financial decisions and guide them to implement the choices they have made. They do not give professional financial advice but help clients understand where they are and help them take simple steps forward. 

Volunteers share in the ministry of Love INC through intersession. We believe prayer changes lives and ask our Prayer Partners to pray for our clients’ needs, those participating in our Life Skills classes and our ministry at Love INC. Prayer needs are emailed to our partners and prayed for together during our Prayer at Noon on Thursdays.
